This document is an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder, as applicable, and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.
This document is published in accordance with Rule 3 (1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011, requiring the publishing of rules, regulations, privacy policy, and Terms of Use for access or usage of domain name www.lawit.ai (the "Platform").
The Platform is owned by Legalities AI Platform Pvt. Ltd., a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956, with its registered office at Property No. 44, 2nd Floor, Regal Building, Connaught Place, New Delhi, India (hereinafter referred to as "Platform Owner," "we," "us," or "our").
1. Use of the Platform
By accessing or using this Platform, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you transact on the Platform, you shall be subject to the policies that are applicable for such transactions.
You agree to provide true and accurate information during registration and are responsible for all acts done through your registered account.
2. Service Warranty & Limitation of Liability
We strive to provide accurate and reliable services. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to such claim. We do not exclude liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or statutory consumer rights.
Your use of our Services is at your discretion. You must independently assess whether the Services meet your requirements.
3. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform is proprietary to us or licensed to us. You may not claim any intellectual property rights over its contents, design, or graphics.
4. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against direct losses or damages arising from your unlawful use of the Platform, breach of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights. This indemnity does not extend to indirect or consequential losses.
5. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction
Any dispute shall first be referred to our internal grievance redressal process and, if unresolved, to mediation under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
For B2B disputes: Courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
For consumer disputes: Jurisdiction shall be as per applicable consumer law.
6. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, government action, or internet outages, provided reasonable steps are taken to mitigate the impact.
